From January 1, 2026, a new monthly allowance for caring for a child up to 1 year old in the amount of UAH 7,000 has been introduced in Ukraine. Payments are made from the end of maternity leave until the child reaches one year of age. The funds are credited to the special account "Diya.Kartka" and can be spent only on goods for children, food, medicine or education.
Main conditions and details:
Who receives: Mother, father or guardian who actually cares for the child.
Payment amount: 7,000 UAH per month (or 10,500 UAH for a child with a disability).
How to apply: Submit an application through the "eMalyatko" service in the "Diya" application, on the portal or in territorial bodies, in service centers of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, in TsNAPs or local self-government bodies,
by mail to the Pension Fund. You can also submit an application for assistance remotely.
Validity period: Until the child reaches 1 year of age. If the child was born in 2025 and is not 1 year old by January 1, 2026, payments are also accrued.
